The Power of Facebook Advertising #infographic
Facebook is a social networking website that was originally designed for college students, but is now open to anyone 13 years of age or older. Facebook users can create and customize their own profiles with photos, videos, and information about themselves. Friends can browse the profiles of other friends and write messages on their pages.
Each Facebook profile has a “wall,” where friends can post comments. Since the wall is viewable by all the user’s friends, wall postings are basically a public conversation. Therefore, it is usually best not to write personal messages on your friends’ walls. Instead, you can send a person a private message, which will show up in his or her private Inbox, similar to an e-mail message.

Do you have any stats on how FB is doing with the mobile ads? They have invested a ton, but I have not seen much about the effectiveness of the ads. I guess that question is in two parts: 1. How are the mobile ads for advertisers? 2. How are the ads doing for FB reveneu?

Facebook advertising is indeed very targeted. However, local businesses do not find much benefit as compared to a big brand. I wonder when facebook will release their deals feature to one and all on facebook. Thanks for this info Berrie Pelser.

great infographic….just a bit of colour contrast (maybe a complementary orange) would really make it pop visually (I get that you are going for the facebook colours though!)

Great stats, huge amount of facts. It is a lot of noise on Facebook but for brands and individuals is good enough to promote a lot of interests.
