Since weapons can already be duplicated using 3D printing, I imagine some legal hurdles may slow the process as compared with the PC.

I’ve seen 3-D printing, and I think it is amazing technology. When this gets full-scale into the hands of everyday users, we could experience an actual paradigm shift in society. The capability to manufacture may no longer require specialized and expensive tools and expertise.
